What a day! The Aalto Talent Expo 2025 in Dipoli was an absolute whirlwind, and honestly, we're still running on the high energy of meeting so many incredible students. From the moment the doors opened, GIM Robotics booth was buzzing with super interesting talents—the future leaders and innovators in robotics and beyond.

A Day of Non-Stop Innovation

Representing GIM Robotics this year were Sami Lauronen and myself. We came prepared for a busy day, but the sheer volume and quality of conversations completely blew us away! The energy was infectious, and we truly felt privileged to connect with so many brilliant minds.

Fun fact: We calculated our break time for the entire event—it totaled maybe 5 minutes in total of vocal rest during the day! But trust us, every minute was worth it.

We had deep discussions about autonomous systems, advanced sensor fusion, and real-world robotics challenges. It was clear that the students from Aalto University are not just studying theory; they're ready to build, innovate, and make an immediate impact. The Force is strong with these ones—their eagerness to apply their skills was palpable!

The Talent Pipeline is Strong

Our primary mission was to scout for the next generation of GIMsters—especially for our internships and thesis positions. We were looking for proactive individuals eager to apply their cutting-edge knowledge to our exciting projects, and we found them! We're confident that these future GIMsters will become valuable members of our crew as they embark on this new frontier.

Now, the real work begins. We have a fantastic stack of applications and CVs to go through the potential candidates, and we're excited to see where these connections lead. Getting to know the aspirations of tomorrow's professionals is a crucial part of how GIM Robotics stays at the forefront of innovation.

Grateful, Positive, and a Little Sleepy

As the day wrapped up and we started packing up the booth, we were left with a tired voice after all the intense conversations, but an overwhelmingly positive and grateful feeling. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared your ideas, and showed such genuine enthusiasm for what we do at GIM Robotics.

The sheer excitement you brought validates our mission: pushing the boundaries of autonomous systems requires exceptional people. We believe the future of robotics is bright, and you, the students, are the ones who will be driving it. You are our only hope!
