Job openings for future GIMsters
We are a growing, expert-driven company, which means we believe in slow, sustainable, and highly selective growth. We are looking for individuals who view mobile robotics as their true passion. GIM Robotics typically welcome only 2 to 5 new team members, including full-time specialists and highly valued interns, per year.
Your Impact: You won't be a cog in a large machine. Every team member here works directly on core technology, with code that goes straight into making large machines safer, smarter, and more efficient.
What We Seek: We look for exceptional talent in areas like Sensor Fusion, Real-Time 3D Localization, Mapping, and C++ Development—people who thrive on complex, real-world challenges.
If you are a deep-tech visionary ready to push the boundaries of autonomy in challenging environments, you may have found your new home. Explore our rare current openings below.

Who we are
We are currently a community of 40 GIMsters with top robotics experts and enthusiasts from Finland and beyond. We have been growing our superpowers together since 2014 and they now cover sensor fusion, real time 3D localization and mapping, traversability analysis, computer vision systems and dynamic object tracking, to name a few. But we are not just engineers, we are marketing & sales experts, people-centric pros, research and development enthusiasts, safety guardians and coffee lovers.
Our hiring process
If your profile matches what we’re looking for, here's what the process typically looks like:
- Coding Challenge
You'll complete a coding test remotely at a time that suits you.
(This is specific for engineering roles that require coding skills, other roles might have some problem solving questions in the first interview)
- First Interview
A friendly chat with our People team and a Project Manager or Team Lead. - Final Interview
You’ll meet with our CTO and other members of the engineering team—either online or at our Espoo office.
And then, if we all feel it's a match—we'll make it official!
"Why didn't I get an interview?"
Sometimes the profiles we are looking for can be for a specific project or role that needs some specific experience. The job application usually has the most important skills written in the first two paragraphs. If you have some relevant experience but we didn't move forward with you, it does not mean that you are not suitable for a role in the future.
