Internships at GIM Robotics
About once per year, GIM Robotics is hiring Summer GIMterns (intern). The application is open by the end of March and internships are usually 3-4 months depending on the selected candidates study schedule. The work can start in April/May and end in August/September. About 90% of our GIMterns stay with the company after the internship as a fulltime or part-time employee, depending on their study schedule.
GIM Robotics is fuelled by our GIMsters and most of them have at some point been an intern. The main objectives for our interns is to get to know the company, the GIM-specific codes and structures, and take on light administrative tasks that will help the in their career growth. A typical GIMtern is in the end of their Master's Degree in software engineering, automation, or other relevant field in technology.
Our GIMterns offer us a fresh look into our company's day-today procedures and processes, they can share innovative ideas from their studies and challenge the norms of the company.

Thesis process at GIM Robotics
Former GIMterns can continue their journey at GIM Robotics as a thesis worker. Usually our GIMterns become part-time or fulltime employees at GIM Robotics after their internships. IF they haven't decided on a thesis topic, they can have the chance to work on a topic from our R&D departments roadmap. If the topic has not been approved, it will go through the Product Steering Group for assessment before being accepted.
Even though most of our thesis workers are old GIMterns, it does not mean that we could not collaborate with new thesis workers as well.
