FAQ

  • GIM Robotics has their Summer Internship application open in January-March, if you are looking for an internship outside of this time or/and you cannot find an open job position at that time, please Connect with us through the career page and/or send a message to careers@gimrobotics.fi and we will answer as soon as possible.

Unfortunately we are not able to take everyone that could be a potential fit, but in general we do have 1-2 internships and/or thesis workers per year. The amount depends much on the project portfolio for the summer and the R&D Departments roadmap.

  • The basic requirements for our internships and thesis workers are as follows; English language (we do not require Finnish as a working language), some knowledge in software development (C++, Python, etc.), relevant field of studies (usually finishing their studies in M.Sc. in engineering, software development, science etc.) and a genuine interest towards robotics with an innovative variety of skillsets.

Although most of our internships and thesis workers are for engineering roles, it doesn't mean that we only chose engineers! There might be a possibility for you to have a thesis project related to Marketing, Sales, Human Resources or Financial topics as well.

  • GIM Robotics has a time limit of 6 months for the practical part of the thesis work. If there is a force majeure situation that are out of our hands to impact on that delays the project, the timeline will be rediscussed.
