GIM Robotics typically welcomes only a few new team members, including full-time specialists and highly valued interns, per year. We are in a growth phase, which means the roles are often to expand teams or train in new juniors to become those highly valued GIMsters. An avergae GIMster lifespan is over 5 years, which means that many come here and stay for a long time, because the work is fascinating and the community is supportive.

Who we are
We are currently a community of 40 GIMsters with top robotics experts and enthusiasts from Finland and beyond. We have been growing our superpowers together since 2014 and they now cover sensor fusion, real time 3D localization and mapping, traversability analysis, computer vision systems and dynamic object tracking, to name a few. But we are not just engineers, we are marketing & sales experts, people-centric pros, research and development enthusiasts, safety guardians and coffee lovers.
Our hiring process
If your profile matches what we’re looking for, here's what the process typically looks like:
First Interview (5-10 candidates)
A friendly chat with our People team and a Project Manager or Team Lead. We will get to know each other and see if the profile we are looking for matches what you are looking for.Second Interview & office visit (2-3 candidates)
You’ll meet with our CTO and other members of the engineering team—either online or at our Espoo office.(Potentail final interview)
You’ll meet with our CEO or CTO for a final check. And then, if we all feel it's a match—we'll make it official!
"Why didn't I get an interview?"
Sometimes the profiles we are looking for can be for a specific project or role that needs some specific experience. The job application usually has the most important skills written in the beginning of the application.
In Senior roles, we need the candidate to have that experience to fir into our team, but for Junior Robotics Engineer or Robotics Engineer roles, the potential is what matters.
Remember, if you have some relevant experience but we didn't move forward with you, it does not mean that you are not suitable for another role in the future.
